Where is the organic cotton material manufactured?
Currently, our organic cotton clothing is manufactured in India.
Does the manufacturer follow all organic and labor standards?
Absolutely. Our manufacturing facility is certified by Control Union (f.k.a. SKAL International) under the Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS) and EKO Sustainable Textile Standards.
Under the GOTS our manufacturer is required to maintain a minimum Social Criteria including the following :
- Employment is Freely Chosen
- Freedom of Association and right to collective bargaining
- Working Conditions are safe and hygienic
- Child labor is not used
- Living wages are paid
- Working hours are not excessive
- No Discrimination is practiced
- Regular Employment provided
- No harsh or inhumane treatment is allowed
